Engineering for Global Health (EGH) is the use of engineering design methodology as a framework to address complex global health challenges, especially in contexts shaped by inequality and resource constraints such as low- and middle-income countries.

Product Architecture is the arrangement of an interface between major parts and subsystems of a concept or system. Its development is a central part of engineering design as it is when the product concept, subsystems and interfaces are chosen for further development.
